OPERATION - LOW PRESSURE PUMP
When the ignition switch is on, fused battery posi-
tive voltage is supplied to th e electr ic lift pump,
which will ru n for 20–30 secon ds a nd then stop. If
the engine is cr anked, the pu mp will begin run ning
immediately supplyin g fu el th rough fuel filter a nd
onto the high pr essu re pump. Th e lift pum p and low
pr essu re fuel circuit opera te at a pressu re between
3.8 -5.5 bar (55 - 80 psi.).
