INSTALLATION
(1) Position th e h igh beam headla mp bulb into th e
integra l bulb holder on the front lamp u nit reflector.
Be certain tha t the lugs on the bulb base are
enga ged in t he recesses of the bulb holder (Fig. 31).
(2) Engage the high bea m headlamp bulb retainer
by pivotin g it over the bu lb base, pressing it sligh tly
outwa rd from th e bulb base and towar d t he front
lam p unit hou sing, then inwa rd toward the side of
the bulb base.
(3) Reconnect the front lamp u nit wire harn ess
connect or to th e high beam h eadla mp bulb base.
(4) Position the front la mp un it rear cover ont o the
lam p h ousing an d en gage th e retainers over ea ch
side of the cover t o secure it (Fig. 13).
(5) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.

REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the licen se plate lamp u nit from its
mounting locat ion, bu t do not disconnect it fr om th e
vehicle wire h arness. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/LICE NSE PLATE
LAMP UNIT - REMOVAL).
(3) Remove th e cover from th e back of t he lamp
housin g (Fig. 33).
(4) Grasp the la mp housing firmly in on e ha nd,
then disen gage the bu lb from bet ween the bulb hold-
ers with the other h and.
INSTALLATION
(1) Grasp th e license pla te la mp housing firmly in
one hand, then en gage the bulb bet ween the bulb
holder s with the other hand (Fig. 33).
(2) Reinstall t he cover ont o the ba ck of th e lamp
housin g.
(3) Reinstall the license pla te lamp unit to its
mounting loca tion . (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/LICE NSE PLATE
LAMP UNIT - INSTALLATION).
(4) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.

REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Usin g ha nd pressure, press the right side of
the licen se pla te lamp housing toward th e left
aga inst t he spring pressu re of the reta ining clip, then
pu ll the righ t side of t he la mp downward t o disen-
gage it fr om the mounting hole (Fig. 34).
(3) Pull the license pla te lamp h ousing slightly to
the right to disengage th e left side of the unit from
the m ounting hole.
(4) Disconn ect th e one or two vehicle wire harness
connect ions from t he ter minals on the back of the
license pla te la mp unit.
(5) Remove t he licen se pla te lam p unit from the
vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position the license plate lam p unit to th e
mounting hole on the vehicle (Fig. 34).
(2) Reconnect th e one or two vehicle wire ha rness
connect ions to the ter min als on the back of t he
license pla te la mp unit.
(3) Engage the left side of the license plate la mp
unit int o the left side of the m ounting hole.
(4) Usin g ha nd pressure, press the right side of
the licen se pla te lamp housing toward th e left
aga inst t he spring pressu re of the reta ining clip, then
