7.6 The X Axis Drive Assembly
7.6.1 Replacing the Optointerrupter
The Optointerrupter (Part No. 15001130) is mounted near the X-axis idler pulley as shown in
Figure 7-51. It is removed by removing the two M3 x 25 buttonhead screws and M3
shakeproof washers.

7.6.2 X-Axis Motor
To remove the X-Axis motor (Figure 7-52), remove the three M4 x 16 SKT cap screws that
attach the motor to the motor mount. When replacing the motor, secure the screws using
Loctite 222.
