11.4.5 Removal/Replacement of Locking Lever/Pivot/Spring
The plate is held in place by the Locking Lever/Pivot/Spring mechanism shown in Figure
11-17.

To Remove the Locking Lever/Pivot and Spring:
1 Remove the spring (Part No. 42000311) from the lever spring pin and plate carrier
spring pin.
2 If it is necessary to remove the pivot and/or locking lever, use a small flat
screwdriver.
Note: When replacing the spring, be sure that the spring is not
over-stretched.
