WARNING
• A windrower without a header or weight box must NOT be
used to tow headers due to reduced traction and possible
loss of control.
• For towed equipment without brakes, do NOT exceed
32 km/h (20 mph).
CAUTION
• To tow a header with an M1240 Windrower, the header
must be equipped with the appropriate equipment to
comply with local regulations.
• Before towing, verify that the signal lighting and safety
equipment is installed and functioning properly.
• Do NOT exceed the combined gross vehicle weight (CGVW) specified in Table 4.3, page 143.
• To prevent damage and/or loss of control, ensure the machine and attached equipment are within the following
weight limits:
