Controller Replacement Procedures
Controller Overview
Controllers provide I/O access to the customer LAN or SAN and provide an
internal SAS interface that is used to interconnect all Driv
e Enclosures and other
Controllers. The Oracle FS System supports two storage Controllers.
The following gure shows an Oracle FS System Controller.

Replace Controller Air Filter
Air lters are designed to maintain proper airow within the Controller by
keeping the air circulating inside the chassis clear and free of dust.
Each Controller has an air lter cov
ering the front of the chassis. Air lters are
customer replaceable units (CRUs). Replacing the air lter does not require you
to bring the Controller oine. The following gure shows the Controller air
lter.
