4.3.2 Inserting a Card into the Drive
When a card is inserted into the drive, a label, identifying the type of the card, appears at the bottom right
of the function key field.
Example: When the model setup card is inserted.
(1) When Model Setup Card is Inserted (MDL CARD)
In response to model setup card insertion, the screen changes as shown below.
←Mode select menu screen
When Model Setup card is popped into the drive, a label “MDL CARD” appears in
the function key field as shown at left.
Upon depression of function key “MDL CARD”, the screen changes into IC card
support 2 screen.
(MDL CARD stands for MODEL CARD.)
←IC card support 1 screen
This confirms whether the downloading of model data is acceptable or not.
The loading of model data starts by pressing “YES” of function key and the model
is set.
Screen returns to the mode select menu screen by pressing the function key
“CANCEL” .
Switching into the IC card support screen 1 causes the
computer to stop updating calculation.
←IC card support 2 screen
With the model setup card, due to the need to interrupt calculation process, the
computer prompts the operator whether to interrupt calculation or not.
Pressing function key “YES” stops calculation and the screen switches to the IC
card support 1 screen.
At the touch of function key “CANCEL”, the screen goes back to the mode select
menu screen.
