The remote commands required to define these settings are described in:
Chapter 14.19.4.6, "SOURce:BB:IMPairment Subsystem", on page 1098.
Chapter 14.19.9, "SOURce:IQ Subsystem", on page 1136.
The instrument can also simulate the effect of non-linear effects like AM/AM and
AM/PM conversion.

State
Activates the impairment of the I/Q signal.
If activated, the settings for I/Q offset, I/Q imbalance, and quadrature offset become
effective.
Remote command:
For analog impairments: [:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:IMPairment[:STATe] on page 1102
For digital impairments:
[:SOURce]:BB:IMPairment:RF<ch>:STATe on page 1102
[:SOURce]:BB:IMPairment:IQOutput<ch>:STATe on page 1102
[:SOURce]:BB:IMPairment:BBMM<ch>:STATe on page 1102
[:SOURce]:BB:IMPairment:FADer<ch>:STATe on page 1102
I/Q Offset
Sets a carrier offset (in percent) of the amplitudes (scaled to the peak envelope power
(PEP)) for the I and/or Q signal component. An ideal I/Q modulator suppresses the car-
rier offset completely (offset = 0 percent).
For more information, see:
Chapter 6.4.2.2, "I and Q Offset", on page 441
"To optimize the carrier leakage suppression" on page 447
Remote command:
For analog impairments:
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:IMPairment:LEAKage:I on page 1100
[:SOURce<hw>]:IQ:IMPairment:LEAKage:Q on page 1100
For digital impairments:
