12.2.2.5 VDR-100G3 with L3 HVR-02 Fixed FRM Capsule Setup
The partition sizes provided in this section are applicable only to the L3 HVR-02 Fixed FRM
Capsule. (For more information on the L3 HVR-02 Fixed FRM Capsule partition sizes, refer to
Section 12.2.2.2: L3 HVR/SVR Fixed FRM/SFRM Capsule Partitions Overview.):
1. Open Internet Explorer from the VDR desktop;
2. Under the address bar type <http://192.168.0.2/hvrhome.htm>;
3. Press the “Enter” key;
4. The HVR HTML Interface will appear;
Note! If the Web page does not appear, ensure the address is not redirected to a
proxy server. Under ‘Tools’ menu, select ‘Internet Options’, Select Connection’s
tab and select ‘LAN Settings’. Ensure that “Use a proxy server” is not checked.
5. Select Flash Setup;
6. Enter L3HVR
as the password;
7. In the Update Devices form, the fields must be edited according to part number:
a. Position 0, insert 9413
into the granules field and AUDIO for Stream Name field,
b. Position 1, insert 941
into the granules field and NMEA for Stream Name field,
c. Position 2, insert 5636
into the granules field and VIDEO for Stream Name field,
d. Position 3, insert 0
into the granules field and leave Stream Name blank,
e. Position 4, insert 0
into the granules field and leave Stream Name blank, and
f. Position 5, insert 0
into the granules field and leave Stream Name blank,
8. Select ‘Submit Changes’; and
9. Close Internet Explorer.
12.2.2.6 VDR-100G3S with L3 SVR-03 Fixed SFRM Capsule Setup
The set-up of the L3 SVR-01 Fixed SFRM Capsule can be completed using the procedure and
information in Section 12.2.2.5: VDR-!00G3 with L3 HVR Fixed FRM Capsule Setup.
Note! A granule is a logical unit of file storage on an L3 FRM/SFRM Capsule. The total number of
granules added to the ‘Granules’ fields cannot exceed the ‘Partitioning Granules in Crash Module’
(listed at the top of the form).
