10. Reconnect to the VDR-100G3 via the Remote Desktop using the following
settings:
a. Computer: 200.200.200.200
b. User name: Administrator
c. Password: [Enter applicable administrative password here]
d. Domain: WORKGROUP
11. To browse the network in order to obtain software from a shared folder on the
remote PC, click Start > Run… Enter the name of the remote PC in the “Run…”
dialog window (for example, \\RemotePC and click “OK”.
12. Note that Remote Desktop software is also available for technicians using
Windows 2000 software. To obtain this software, please contact the Rutter
Technologies Support Department.
13. For changes to the DMM software and/or operating system to take effect , these
changes MUST be committed to the DMM flash memory as follows:
Locate and double-click the commit.exe icon located on the desktop (see
Figure 6.1 - commit.exe Icon).
Accept the automated restart.
Note! If necessary to log on using an administrator account after restart, Log
on to MyUser, stop and log off and then log on to administrator.
