5 DATA ACQUISITION UNIT (DAU)
5.1 DAU PLANNING
The DAU is an optional EMC shielded enclosure with a bolt on cover. The DAU’s cable entry
system is a combination of cable plate and grommets. In this system, both the plate and the
grommets are split, allowing the cable entry plate to be opened, and cables with molded or pre-
wired connectors to be inserted without any modifications. Coaxial cables used for video signals
are easily connected with BNC connectors.
The DAU measures 600mm x 400mm x 150mm and is designed to be bulkhead mounted.
