The following fields must be completed in the General tab window:
A2.2.1 Software Version & Software Date
Enter the version number and date of the VDR Record application software as shown in the VDR
Record software interface.
A2.2.2 VDR Model
From the accompanying drop-down box, select the VDR model applicable to the installation.
Options available for selection are:
VDR-100,
VDR-100G2,
VDR-100G3,
VDR-100G3S,
Simplified VDR, and
DRS.
A2.2.3 VDR S/N
Enter the VDR serial number found on the VDR identification plate located at the side of the unit
in the lower right corner.
An example of a VDR serial number is RT1981651973
A2.2.4 Ship
Enter the name of the ship where the VDR is being installed.
A2.2.5 Customer
Enter the name of the customer for whom the VDR is being installed.
A2.2.6 Installer
Enter the name of the person carrying out the VDR installation.
A2.2.7 IMO Vessel ID#
Enter the International Maritime Organization (IMO) identification number specific to the vessel
where the VDR is being installed.
A2.2.8 MMSI#
Enter the Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) radio identification number specific to the
vessel where the VDR is being installed.
A2.2.9 Call Sign
Enter the Call Sign specific to the vessel where the VDR is being installed.
