4 DATA PROCESSING UNIT
4.1 Data Processing Unit (DPU)
The DPU also includes:
Cable entry system with a series of holes and cable securing points large enough to fit
any exterior cables needed to connect inside the DPU.
A fan and intake vent for cooling.
The DPU is designed to be bulk head mounted. For DPU dimensions (W x H x D) refer to drawing
set in Appendix 7: Approved Drawings

4.1.1 Installing the DPU
The Data Processing Unit (DPU) cabinet is installed on the prepared base or can be attached to
the wall directly. Refer to Appendix 7 – Approved Drawings for details on mounting holes and the
prepared base.
