3.3 Power Requirements
For information on power requirements see Chapter 2: Technical Specifications.
3.4 Documentation
The final planning requirement for a VDR-100G3 installation is to prepare the installation
documentation. This documentation should contain detailed interconnect drawings that include:
Connection points in the VDR-100G3 DPU terminal block, external interfaces, and
shipboard systems.
Sufficient detail to allow the installation technician to complete the interconnection of
all components.
Cable types and sizes.
Cable numbers which will allow an installation technician to label cables after they
are installed.
Other information relevant to the installation.
3.4.1 Documentation/Data Required by Rutter Technologies
The following documentation/data is required to be submitted to Rutter Technologies when the
installation and commissioning is complete.
Parameters file.
Configuration file.
Error Log.
Small sample of extracted data (See Appendix 4: Playback for information on using
the extraction utility.
Copy of the completed and signed Commissioning Files.
Copy of the completed Rutter Installation Checklist (see Appendix 1 for the checklist).
