The following fields are contained within individual Audio Channel tabs. After entering all relevant
information for the first Channel, click the ‘Channel 2’ tab and complete all fields.
Note! This information will have to be entered for each Audio Channel
connected.
A2.7.2 Short Onscreen Name
Enter a name for the audio channel which will be utilized by the Playback program. It is
recommended to use a name that denotes the general location of the microphones associated
with the audio channel.
A2.7.3 Number of Microphones Connected to this Channel
Select the radio button (1, 2, 3, or 4) appropriate for the number of microphones connected to the
audio channel. If more than one microphone is selected, the software will create the appropriate
number of “Microphone Number” rows available for data entry (see Figure A2- 13 - Audio
Channel Information above).
A2.7.4 Location of Microphone
Enter a brief description of the microphone.
Recommended: include such descriptors as location and type.
A2.7.5 Type
From the drop down box select the type of microphone used. Options available for selection are:
Interior,
Exterior,
UHF,
VHF,
PABX,
Telephone,
Intercom, and
ECR Audio.
A2.7.6 Enter a Summary
Enter a complete description of the Channel and all connected microphones.
