Cables from each Audio Junction Box to Audio Module are installed.
Cables from each external interface (i.e., DataAnalog, DataGyro, etc) are
installed.
Cables from each NMEA source are installed.
Cables from the radar/video source (if applicable) are installed.
Cables from the FRM are installed.
Ship’s emergency power cable is installed to and connected inside the DPU.
Cable from OAU is installed.
Any optional cables are installed.
Cables are marked with number and/or source designation according to the
cable plan.
Ensure for each cable terminated at the VDR that the source end is
connected to the proper output.
Ensure that each interface power cable is connected to the required power
supply terminal of the VDR.
The power cable from the FRM capsule is connected to the DPU’s 24VDC
power supply.
Ensure the ship’s breaker is switched off.
