5.20.1.1 Magnetic plates
The magnetic plate must be suitable for the
generator.
* Magnetic plates with a lower power con-
sumption can be used.
Operating time of the magnetic plate
The magnetic plate warms up during long
operating times. Depending on the tempera-
ture and design of the magnetic plate, there
may be a reduction in power or damage may
occur. The relative operating time, therefore,
indicates the period of magnetization as a
percentage of the total operating time of the
magnet system. Please refer to the manufac-
turer's specifications for the permissible value.
Magnetic plates from Terex-Fuchs: 65%
relative operating time.
Excessively long operating times
may result in damage to the mag-
netic plate. If you are using magnet-
ic plates from other manufacturers,
please observe their relative oper-
ating time specifications.
