NOTE: Pay attention to the sequence of discs. If the
original clutch discs are reused, be sure to return
the disc identified on disassembly as belonging on
top of the disc spring (14) to its original location.

(7) Fit sna p-r ing (17).
(8) Measur e K2 clutch clea rance by mou nting
Pressing Tool 8901 (1) (Fig. 92) on out er multiple
disc.
(9) Usin g a lever press, compress pr essing t ool as
far as the stop (then t he markin g rin g is st ill visible,
see small a rrow).
(10) Using a feeler ga uge, deter min e the pla y L
(Fig. 93) a t thr ee points bet ween the sna p-r ing (6)
and outer multiple-disc (4).
