INPUT CLUTCH K3
DISASSEMBLY
(1) Remove sna p-r ing (1) (Fig. 94) from outer mul-
tiple-disc carrier.
(2) Remove m ultiple-disc pack (2) a nd disk spring
(3) from ou ter multiple-disc carrier. Note which
clutch disc is removed just pr ior t o t he spring plate
(3) for re-assembly. If the clutch discs ar e r e-used,
this disc must be r eturned to its origin al position on
top of th e spr ing plate.
(3) Pla ce Mu lti-use Spr ing Compressor 8900 (9)
(Fig. 94) on disc spring (5) and com pr ess the spr ing
until the snap-ring (4) is exposed.
(4) Remove snap-r ing (4).
(5) Remove spring plate (5) a nd piston (6) from
outer m ultiple-disc carrier.
