During the sh ift phase t he pressu re (Fig. 114) i n
the deact iva ting sh ift actua tor is regulated in rela-
tion to the engine load (m odu lating pressure, p-Mod)
and the pressur e in t he activating a ctuat or. The reg-
ula ted pressur e is inversely proport ional to t he tr ans-
fer capa city of the activat ing shift act uator (regulated
overlap).
