Shift Pressure Shift Valve
When the multiple-disc br ake B1 (3) is activated,
the working pressure (p-A) is applied to the end face
of th e 1-2 / 4-5 shift pressure sh ift valve (4) (Fig. 117)
via the comm and valve (1). Its sh ift sta te is m ain -
tained during the shift phase by substitutin g the
sh ift elemen t pressure act ing on its end face (and
which is va riable du ring th e shift phase) with a cor-
respondin g constan t pressur e. When t he m ult i-plat e
clutch K1 (2) is activat ed, the en d face of th e sh ift
valve is unpr essu rized during the stationa ry an d
sh ift phases, so th e shift stat e is ma int ained dur ing
the sh ift phase in this case too.
Lubrication Pressure Regulating Valve
At the working pressure regulating valve surplus
oil is diverted to th e lubrication pressur e r egulat ing
valve (1) (Fig. 118), from where the lubr ication pr es-
su re (p-Sm) is used in r egulated amoun ts to su pply
the tran sm ission lubr ication syst em in cluding th e
torqu e converter.
