(2) Disconn ect the wire ha rness connector from th e
recir cula tion door actuator (F ig. 24).
(3) Disconn ect t he vacu um l ine from the recircula-
tion door act uator.
(4) Remove th e two screws t hat secure the recircu-
lat ion door actuator to the ventilation hou sing.
(5) Disconn ect th e a ctuator sha ft fr om t he recircu-
lat ion door pivot lever and r emove th e a ctuator from
the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Connect t he act uator sha ft to t he recircu lation
door pivot lever.
(2) In st all the t wo screws tha t secure the recir cu-
lat ion door act uator to the ven tilation h ousing.
Tighten t he screws to 2 N·m (17 in. lbs.).
(3) Connect the vacuum line to t he recircu lation
door a ctuator.
(4) Connect th e wire harness con nector to the
recir cula tion door actuator.
(5) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.
