REMOVAL
(1) Remove the lower cont rol a rm (Refer to 2 -
SUSPENSION/FRONT/LOWER CONTROL ARM -
REMOVAL).
(2) In st all the lower con trol arm in a vise.
(3) In st all special tool C-4212F (Pr ess) wit h special
tool 9302-1 (Driver ) and 9302–3 (Receiver) (Fig. 1).
(4) Press out the old control arm bu sh ing.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the n ew con trol ar m bush ing into th e
control arm.
(2) Press the new bush ing into the control arm
using special tool C-4212F and 9302-1 (Driver) with
9302-2 (Sizer cup) a nd 9302-4 (Receiver) (Fig. 2).
(3) Press the bush ing in a ll the wa y un til the lip is
seated pr oper ly into the con trol arm .
(4) In st all the lower control ar m t o the vehicle
(Refer to 2 - SUSP ENSION/FRONT/LOWER CON-
TROL ARM - INSTALLATION).
