STANDARD PROCEDURE - TOE ADJUSTMENT
CAMBER AND CASTE R ARE NOT ADJ USTABLE
(TOE ONLY)..
The wheel toe position adjust ment is the final
adjustment.
(1) St art the engine and turn wheels bot h wa ys
before stra ightening th e wheels. Secure the steerin g
wheel with the fron t wh eels in t he stra igh t-ahea d
position .
(2) Loosen the tie rod jam nuts.
NOTE: Each front wheel should be adjusted for
one-half of the total toe position specification. This
will ensure the steering wheel will be centered
when the wheels are positioned straight-ahead.
(3) Adjust t he wh eel t oe position by tur nin g th e
inner tie r od as necessa ry.
