(3) Usin g han d pressure, push the socket plate
gent ly and even ly into th e inn er rear pillar mou nting
hole un til both la tch tabs are fully engaged (F ig. 39).
(4) If t he vehicle is so equ ipped, reinstall th e trim
onto t he inside of the r ight or left rear corner pillar.
(5) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.
REAR T U RN LAM P BU LB
REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) If the vehicle is so equipped, remove th e trim
from the inside of th e right or left rear corner pillar.
(3) From in side the vehicle, use han d pressure to
pu sh the two lat ch ta bs towa rd th e center of the tail
lam p unit socket plate an d pull the socket pla te
st raight ou t from the inner rear pilla r (Fig. 41).
(4) Pull the socket plat e a way fr om the in ner rear
pillar fa r enou gh to access the turn signal la mp bulb
(Fig. 42).
(5) Remove the tu rn sign al lamp bulb from the t ail
lam p socket pla te.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the tu rn signa l lamp bulb into t he tail
lam p socket pla te (Fig. 42).
(2) Align the socket pla te with the moun tin g hole
in the inne r re ar p illar.
(3) Usin g han d pressure, push the socket plate
gent ly and even ly into th e inn er rear pillar mou nting
hole un til both la tch tabs are fully engaged (F ig. 41).
(4) If t he vehicle is so equ ipped, reinstall th e trim
onto t he inside of the r ight or left rear corner pillar.
(5) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.
REPEAT ER LAM P BU LB
REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove t he sm all or lar ge st yle repeater la mp
unit fr om its m ounting location, but do not discon-
nect it from the veh icle wire harn ess. (Refer to 8 -
ELECTRICAL/LAMP S/LIGH TING - E XTERIOR/RE-
PEATER LAMP - REMOVAL).
(3) Remove t he bulb holder from the lens (sm all
type) (F ig. 43), or th e lens from the lamp housin g
(lar ge type) (Fig. 44).
