(4) Remove the repeater lamp bulb from the bu lb
holder.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the repea ter lamp bu lb into the bulb
holder (Fig. 43) or (Fig. 44).
(2) Reinstall the bulb holder into th e lens (small
type), or the lens onto t he la mp housing (large type).
(3) Reinstall th e repeater lam p unit into it s
mounting loca tion . (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/REPE ATER LAMP
- INSTALLATION).
(4) Reconnect t he battery negative cable.
REPEAT ER LAM P U N I T
REMOVAL
SMALL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Usin g ha nd pressur e, press the rear edge of the
repeat er lam p lens/h ousing towa rd the front of the
vehicle against the spring pr essu re of the r etaining
clip, then pu ll the rea r edge of the lamp outward to
disengage it from the mou ntin g hole (Fig. 45).
(3) Pull th e repeater la mp housing sligh tly to the
rear to disenga ge t he fr ont edge of the unit fr om th e
mounting hole.
(4) Disconn ect the vehicle wire harness connect or
from the conn ector recept acle of t he bulb holder on
the back of the r epeater lam p u nit.
(5) Remove the repea ter lamp un it from t he vehi-
cle.
LARGE
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the screw th at secu res the lens a nd
the repea ter lamp h ousing to the fender panel (Fig.
46).
