DESCRIPTION
The power operat ed ou tside rea r view mirror s
allow th e driver to a djust both outside mirrors elec-
trically from t he dr iver side front seat position by
operat ing a switch on t he dr iver side front door t rim
pa nel. The power mirror s receive a non-switched bat-
tery feed t hrough a fuse so t hat th e system will
rema in operational, regardless of t he ignition swit ch
position .

SWITCH
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove power mirror switch (Refer to 8 -
ELECTRICAL/POWER MIRRORS/POWER MIRROR
SWITCH - REMOVAL).
(3) Usin g an oh mmet er, test for continuity between
the t erminals of the switch (F ig. 1).

REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the door h andle trim.
(3) Remove the mir ror switch/power window
switch trim (Fig. 2).
