9.24 spanning-tree guard root
Use this command to enable root guard on the interface to prevent the change of current root bridge
position because of error configuration and illegal packet attack. Use the no form of this command to
restore the default setting.
no spanning-tree guard root
This function is disabled by default.
Interface configuration mode.
3. If root guard is enabled, the current root bridge will not change due to incorrect configuration or
illegal packet attacks.
4. The loop guard function and root guard function cannot be enabled at the same time.
The following example enables root guard on the interface.
Ruijie(config)# interface gigabitethernet 0/1
Ruijie(config-if-interface-id)# spanning-tree guard root
9.25 spanning-tree ignore tc
Use this command to enable the tc filtering on the interface. Use the no form of this command to
restore the default setting. With tc filtering enabled, the TC packets received on the interface will not
be processed.
