6.1.1 Power shift gear
6.1.1.1 Diesel engine is stopped
►
Switch on the ignition.
►
Shift through the gears about 10 times us-
ing the function "Transmission control
(slow)" (234/4). The transmission control is
now pressureless. The gear is in neutral
position.
Disengaging the parking brake:
►
Remove the screw cap (235/1).
►
Loosen the counter nut (235/3). Unscrew
the threaded pin (235/2) to release the
brake disk.
►
Screw on the screw cap (235/1) by a few
thread turns to prevent soiling.
The machine can now be towed.
After towing, the parking brake must be
locked again.
Reengaging the parking brake:
►
Start the engine and release the parking
brake.
►
Remove the screw cap (235/1).
►
Screw back the counter nut (235/3) on the
threaded pin (235/2).
►
Turn the threaded pin (235/2) clockwise
until the two brake lining carriers (236/4)
make contact with the brake disk.
►
Screw back the threaded pin (235/2) by ½
turn and tighten counter nut (235/3).
►
Screw on the screw cap (235/1) hand-tight.
