– Prise off securing clip -6-.
– Remove pin -7-. Use mandrel if necessary.
– Unscrew bolts -4- (2x).
– Take out gas strut -5-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following:
– Always renew securing clip following removal.
– Make sure carrier and padding fully engage.
Tightening torque:
Bolts in carrier for securing gas strut ⇒ Item 9 (page 77) ,
