(17) Remove the bolts holding the tran smission
housin g t o th e converter housing from inside t he con-
vert er housing.
(18) Stan d the tra nsmission upright on the con-
vert er housing. Be su re to use suitable spa cers
between th e bench surfa ce and the convert er housing
since the input shaft protr udes past the fron t surfa ce
of the housing.
(19) Remove the rem ain ing bolt s holdin g t he
transmission h ousing to the con vert er housing.
(20) Remove the tran sm ission hou sing from the
conver ter hou sing.
(21) Remove output sh aft with center and rea r
gear set a nd clutch K3 (3) (F ig. 45).
(22) Remove t hrust needle bearing (4) an d thrust
washer (5) (Fig. 45).
(23) Remove input shaft with clutch K2 and front
gear set (6).
(24) Remove clu tch K1 (1).
