(8) Position Bearing Remover 9082 (1) (Fig. 192)
over th e inn er race of the output shaft bear ing.
(9) Slide the colla r (3) (F ig. 193) on the Bearing
Remover 9082 (1) downwar d over t he fingers (3) of
the t ool.
CAUTION: Verify that the geartrain end-play shim
has remained on the output shaft and against the
park gear. The shim may be adhered to the bearing
inner race. Retrieve the shim from the bearing and
install over the output shaft and against the park
gear.
(10) Remove the output sh aft bearing (3) (Fig.
194).
