(7) Remove carrier pla te bolts.
(8) Disengage lift arm fr om glass guide rail a nd
remove regulator a ssem bly. (Fig. 25)
(9) Remove four r ivet s atta chin g r egulator t o car-
rier plate and r emove regu lat or.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all regulator on to ca rrier pla te an d insta ll
new rivets.
(2) In st all regu lator lift ar m into gla ss guide rail
and install regulator a ssem bly.
(3) In st all ca rrier bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89
in. lbs.).
(4) Replace tape secu rin g wire har ness to r egulator
assembly.
(5) Remove glass support.
(6) Connect the electr ical connect or.
(7) Connect batt ery n egat ive cable.
(8) Verify correct win dow operat ion.
(9) In st all t rim pa nel. (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR -
FRONT/TRIM PANE L - INSTALLATION)

REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate battery negative ca ble.
(2) Remove door trim pa nel. (Refer to 23 - BODY/
DOOR - F RONT/TRIM PANEL - RE MOVAL)
(3) Usin g wood wedge, tape or equivalent , secure
gla ss in the up position. (Fig. 26)
