(2) Remove quarter trim pan el. (Refer to 23 -
BODY/INTERIOR/QUARTER TRIM PANEL -
REMOVAL)
(3) Remove the nuts. (F ig. 7)
(4) Remove the front bolts.
(5) Remove the screws a nd remove the center
track end piece. (Fig. 8)
(6) Usin g a hea t gun or equivalent , heat track u p
to approxima tely 60° C (140° F ).
(7) Remove cent er track.
INSTALLATION
(1) Thorou ghly clea n all residue from the center
track at tachment ar ea of the door.
(2) Wipe ar ea clean with a 50% solution of water
and alcohol and wipe dry.
(3) Remove pr otective foil fr om piece of adh esive
st rip on center tra ck.
(4) Apply new cen ter tr ack a nd apply pressur e of
approximately 40 p.s.i. over the en tir e su rface of t he
track.
(5) In st all the fr ont bolts and t igh ten to 10 N·m
(89 in . lbs.).
(6) In st all th e interior nut s and tighten t o 10 N·m
(89 in . lbs.).
(7) In st all quarter tr im panel. (Refer to 23 -
BODY/INTERIOR/QUARTER TRIM PANEL -
INSTALLATION)
(8) In st all th e cen ter roller a rm. (Refer to 23 -
BODY/DOORS - SLIDING/CENTER ROLLER ARM -
INSTALLATION)
(9) In st all th e cent er track en d piece and in st all
the scr ew.
