REMOVAL
(1) Remove the fr ont door tr im pa nel. (Refer to 23
- BODY/DOOR - FRONT/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL)
(2) Remove the inn er belt wea ther st rip.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the inn er belt weath erstrip.
(2) In st all the trim pan el. (Refer to 23 - BODY/
DOOR - F RONT/TRIM PANEL - INSTALLATION)

REMOVAL
(1) Remove door glass. (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR
- FRONT/DOOR GLASS - RE MOVAL)
(2) Remove screws at window channel and remove
channel.
(3) Remove outer belt wea ther st rip.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all outer belt weatherstrip.
(2) In st all glass run chann el and install the
scr ews.
(3) In st all the door glass. (Refer t o 23 - BODY/
DOOR - F RONT/DOOR GLASS - INSTALLATION)
DOOR OPEN I N G SEALS
REMOVAL
(1) Open door a nd separ ate the door opening sea l
from the door openin g fla nge.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position the seal to the bottom of the door
openin g, with bulb facing outboa rd, sta rting the
insta lla tion at the center of the lower flange. Pr ess
the seal onto the sill flange an d work ar ound t he
perim eter of the door openin g un til fully sea ted.
Work in one direction, smoothing the sea l to avoid
pu ckers or wr inkles.
(2) When in st alling a new weatherstr ip on the
front door open ing, remove the tea r strip sta rting at
the splice a nd moving ar ound the fron t of the door to
the back of the open ing.
