the rear A/C cont rol module circuits a nd ra dio recep-
tion quality. The suppression filters for the rea r
blower motors consist of capacitors an d inducta nce
coils.
The r ear blower motor suppression filt ers can not
be repa ired and, if fau lty or damaged, they mu st be
repla ced. Refer t o the appropriate wirin g information
for complete HVAC wiring diagrams.
REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the negat ive ba tter y
cable.
(2) Remove th e cover from the rea r A/C evapor ator
housin g (Refer to 24 - H EATING & AIR CONDI-
TIONING/DISTRIBUTION - REAR/A/C EVAPORA-
TOR COVE R-REAR - RE MOVAL).
(3) Disconn ect the two wire harness connectors
from t he rear blower mot or suppression filter being
serviced (Fig. 22).
(4) Remove the screw t hat secures the each rear
blower mot or suppression filt er to th e rear A/C evap-
orator housing and remove th e suppression filt ers a s
required.
