(6) Remove shaft fr om the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all propeller sh aft intermediate bearing/
bearings to support and tight en nu ts t o 105 N·m (77
ft. lbs.).
(2) In st all propeller shaft int ermediate bearing
su pport/supports to fram e floor and tight en bolts t o
95 N·m (70 ft. lbs.).
(3) In st all propeller shaft int ermediate bearing
with r etaining bracket an d bracket for brake cable.
NOTE: The bracket is only installed on vehicles
with wheelbase 3550 mm.
(4) In st all propeller sha ft to rear axle and trans-
mission flange with installation marks are aligned.
Tighten bolts to 70 N·m (66 ft. lbs.).
(5) In st all retaining bracket and tigh ten bolt s to
100 N·m (74 ft. lbs.).

(1) Remove propeller sha ft.
(2) Mark sh afts for insta llation alignmen t (Fig.
10).
(3) Loosen both collar clamps (Fig. 11).
