REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the portion of the headliner over the
front seat passen gers (Refer to 23 - BODY/INTERI-
OR/HEADLINER - REMOVAL).
(3) Disconn ect t he anten na and electr ical con nec-
tions n ear the windshield (F ig. 1).
(4) Remove the mounting nut.
(5) Remove t he ant enna assembly from the roof
and pull wire harn ess and cable t hrough roof open-
ing.
INSTALLATION
(1) Feed wire harness and cable throu gh r oof open-
ing and posit ion antenna t o roof panel.
(2) In st all and t igh ten antenna mounting nut .
(3) Connect th e antenna and electr ical connect ions
near the windshield.
(4) In st all t he headliner (Refer to 23 - BODY/IN-
TERIOR/H EADLINER - INSTALLATION).
(5) Connect the batt ery n egat ive cable.
