REMOVAL
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the door t rim pan el.
(3) Remove the door lock.
(4) Remove the door lock m otor from the door lock.
INSTALLATION
(1) In st all the door lock mot or to th e door lock.
(2) In st all the door lock.
(3) In st all the door trim pa nel.
(4) Connect the batt ery n egat ive cable.

TRANSMITTER
DESCRIPTION
Pressing th e u nlock button on th e t ran smitter will
unlock th e driver s door, pressing it a secon d time
with in 2.5 seconds will un lock a ll ot her door s. The
transmit ter has a range of 10 m eters. A key is int e-
gral to t he trans mitte r.
When a tr ansmitter is lost, it is n ecessary to dis-
able the affected transmit ter so that it can no lon ger
be used to oper ate the vehicle. It will then be neces-
sa ry t o progr am a new t ransmitter to th e veh icle.
MASTER LOCK SWITCH
DESCRIPTION
The ma st er lock switch is a momentary contact
switch . Pressing the once in th e up dir ection unlocks
the driver door. Pr essing it aga in in the sam e direc-
tion unlocks all doors. Pressing th e bu tton in the
down direct ion locks all doors.
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - MASTER LOCK
SWITCH
(1) Disconn ect and isolate the battery nega tive
cable.
(2) Remove the switch to be test ed.
(3) Usin g a n ohmmeter, test switch for continu ity
(Fig. 1).
(4) If test resu lts a re not obtained as shown in t he
test table, replace t he switch.
