10 Remove the tray 4 media transport assembly from the
TTM.
Go to “2000-sheet dual input (TTM)—tray 4 media
transport assembly removal” on page 4-236.
Inspect the metal tab on the tray 4 media transport
assembly as shown in the graphic below.
Is the metal tab on the tray 4 media transport assembly
bent?
Straighten the metal
tab with needle nose
pliers, or replace the
tray 4 media
transport assembly.
Go to “2000-sheet
dual input (TTM)—
tray 4 media
transport assembly
removal” on
page 4-236.
Go to step 11.
11 Perform a print test.
Does the error still occur?
Replace the 2TM/
TTM controller card
assembly.
