6.7.1 OVERVIEW
This mechanism feeds blank copy paper into the printer. (


Mechanism
The paper table is lifted.
↓
The pick-up roller [A] picks up a sheet of paper.
↓
The feed roller [B] and the separation pad [C] only allow one sheet to pass.
↓
The registration rollers [D] feed the paper.
↓
The print is made.
NOTE:
1) A dedicated stepper motor (paper feed motor) controls the feed roller
and the pick-up roller.
2) A dedicated stepper motor (registration motor) controls the registration
roller.
