5.4.4 Opening/closing the window

Only open windows if no foreign
objects or fluids can get into the
cab.
In an emergency: Close the win-
dows. Administer first aid, seek
treatment from a doctor
5.4.4.1 Windshield
j CAUTION
Injuries due to sagging wind-
shield
The windshield must be locked in
the end positions.
In an emergency: Administer first
aid, seek treatment from a doctor
The windscreen can only be opened com-
pletely. Intermediate positions are not possi-
ble. The windshield cannot be opened if it is
made of reinforced glass.
Opening the windshield
Swing in both locking levers (103/1)
The windshield is unlocked.
Use the two unlocking levers to slide the
windshield up (103/2) and back (103/3) un-
der the cab roof as far as the two locking
devices (103/4).
Unfold both unlocking levers (104/1) such
that the locking bolts (104/2) snap into the
holders (104/3).
The windshield is locked.
Closing the windshield
Swing in both unlocking levers (103/1).
The windshield is unlocked.
Use the two unlocking levers to move the
windshield forward and lower it into the end
position.
Unfold both unlocking levers (105/1) such
that the locking bolts (105/2) snap into the
holders (105/3).
The windshield is locked.
