There are 3 default quick select buttons in the “Transition Time” area of the Audio Transition
menu.
As can be seen in the above menu, you have 3 options to select, by default “Slow” will take 2
seconds to transition, “Medium” will take 1 second and “Fast is an instantaneous cut.
All three options can be adjusted by touching the rotary control attacher (it will turn red) and
then adjusting the rotary control. As the transition time is adjusted, the selected time attacher
will go brown and the time in the box will increase/decrease. Touch the time attacher (it will
turn yellow) and the “Transition Time” will change to reflect.
Audio transitions will now transition at the new set time.
If the “In Trans” Buttons; at the bottom of the audio faders on the Masterpiece control surface
are selected, when a “Take Next” transition is made, the faders will move to reflect the selected
Audio Transition Type.
If for example the “Voice Over” fader on the control surface is set to minimum and a “Fade and
Take” transition is selected, when the “Take Next” button is pressed the fader on the control
surface will move to maximum at the end of the transition.
