This protocol is used to identify and connect Masterpiece to the Grass Valley Morpheus
Automation System.
For Morpheus software version 5.0.70 or above, you must set the “Major” version parameter to
1 and “Minor” version parameter to 27, and the type to “Masterpiece”.
Basically leave all as default. Masterpiece can be controlled by Morpheus via RS422 or IP
Masterpiece is the server and Morpheus is the client.
For Morpheus software versions below 5.0.70, you must set “Major” version parameter to 1 and
“Minor” version parameter to 27
Use the on-screen keyboard to change the “Type” parameter to “TX500”. Make sure you press
the {Update} button after the change.
Masterpiece can be controlled by Morpheus via RS422 only.
The protocol has only 4 AOV controls and Masterpiece has 7 AOV inputs. Hence Masterpiece
needs to map the protocol control to one of our inputs.
