Types of Transition
Basic Background Mix Transition
On the control surface select one source on the Program Bus and a different source on the
Preset Bus and make sure that the [VID TRANS] button is selected. Touch the {Mixer} button,
then in the Transition menu, touch the {Background} button to enable the background for
transitioning, select “Mix” and then press the [TAKE NEXT] button. Notice that a transition is
made between the selected crosspoint sources on the Background A/B.
Basic Background Transition with a Wipe
On the control surface select one source on the Program Bus and a different source on the
Preset Bus and make sure that the [VID TRANS] button is selected. Touch the {Mixer} button,
then in the Transition menu, touch the {Background} button to enable the background for
transitioning, select “Wipe” touch one of the wipe patterns in the center of the menu and then
press the [TAKE NEXT] button. Notice that a transition is made between the selected crosspoint
sources on the Background A/B with a wipe pattern as the transition happens.
