Crosspoints
Overview
The crosspoint mapping menu displays all the physical inputs to the mainframe and all the
internal sources are mapped to the Crosspoints in the crosspoint mapping table. The
crosspoint map has been setup in a factory default state from new.
In the User Defined Crosspoints map you can setup crosspoint functions like the Key and Fill
ready for coupling Stores, and set up Mattes/Washes etc. Fixed Crosspoints cannot be changed.
In the Crosspoint Mapping menu you can also setup Audio Shuffle profiles that are used to
setup AES audio channels. If external or internal sources contain up to 16 channels of audio,
they can be re-mapped “shuffled” between inputs and outputs in any order you require.
User Defined Crosspoints - these allow you to set sources to crosspoints on the control
surface. Using the “Fill Source” and “Key Source” parameter controls, you can map any of the
physical input sources or internal sources, change the Key and Fill associations, setup the Xpt
Lamp Colors which allows you to set up groups of colored Xpt buttons on the control surface
and re-name the crosspoints.
Fixed Crosspoints - as the name suggests the crosspoints cannot be changed and are factory
set. The sources on these crosspoints can still be mapped to any crosspoint but cannot be
changed in any way.
Note: The User Defined Crosspoints can be setup in any way you wishes.
The Fixed Crosspoint cannot be changed.
