The system supports a range of special interfaces.
2. 3. 1 Ethernet interfaces
The Ethernet interface on the basic system is available for the following purposes:
data exchange with WebAdmin
signalling and transmitting voice data (VoIP) in an Mitel Advanced Intelligent Net-
work (AIN)
linking up the Mitel Open Interfaces Platform (OIP)
the connection of a CTI, alarm, ATAS or messaging server, etc.
the connection of IP system phones
the connection of SIP terminals (softphones or desk phones)
The connection to one or more SIP providers.
Networking MiVoice Office 400 communication servers via SIP, etc.
