6. 2. 2 Dialling internal destinations via external call num-
bers
Internal users can also reach internal destinations by dialling an external call number
with the help of an allocation table. This is particularly helpful when dialling with the aid
of a phone book directory. In this way an internal and an external call number do not
have to be stored in the phone book directory.
When the communication server recognizes that it is an external call number, the call
number is checked against the entries in the allocation table( =ha). If the dialled call
number matches an entry, the assigned internal call number is dialled instead of the
external call number. If no match is found, the external call number is dialled.
Note:
If the dialled number does not contain any country code, the country code defined in
the corresponding region is automatically added to the Country code ( =zz). This
makes it possible to dial the call number with or without the country code.
