7.7.3 Fuel system
7.7.3.1 Fuel level
►
Check the fuel level on the fuel gauge
(280/37).
►
If the fuel in the diesel tank is below the
reserve quantity of 5%, the indicator
(280/25) lights up and the message
(280/34) "FUEL RESERVE BELOW 5%"
appears on the multifunction display.
►
To prevent condensation forming before
the next time the machine is put into opera-
tion, the tank must be topped up with fuel
daily after use.
►
If the message (280/25) "Water in fuel"
appears in the display, the fuel prefilter
must be drained.

fuel prefilter
7.7.3.2 Electrical refueling pump (option-
al)
The electrical refueling pump is used to pump
fuel into the fuel tank of the loading machine.
Danger of injury due to overflow-
ing diesel fuel
• Please note that the refueling
pump does not cut off automati-
cally when the tank is full. The
pump should therefore not be left
unattended during the fuelling
process.
In an emergency: Clean up es-
caped diesel fuel
When refueling with the electrical tank filling
pump, open the tank cover so no excess pres-
sure can build up in the fuel tank!
Do not allow the fuel tank to run empty, other-
wise the fuel system will need to be vented.
