Troubleshooting Information
1. General
The table below lists the possible defects of the engine fasteners. If you have the trouble detailed in
the Trouble column, read across to the Possible Cause column. Then do the repair in the Repair
column.
Under-torque (clamping area)
Replace the damaged parts.
Apply the correct torque.
(overstressed threaded areas)
